Edward Elric (エドワード・エルリック, Edowādo Erurikku), given the title Fullmetal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師, Hagane no Renkinjutsushi) is the youngest State Alchemist in the history of the organization having gained his admittance at the age of 12.
